How to pronounce your name?
Short answer: think of the "Q" in my name as "Ch" (as opposed to "K"), and you will get pretty close.
Long answer: my name is officially pronounced as chien-chuaan yeh in Mandarin. On the other hand, as I was born and grew up in Guangzhou (Canton), my family and hometown friends say my name in Cantonese, which is pronounced (approximately) as cheen-chewn yip and spelled as Chin-chyun Yip.
